The 5th Root Race, like all others, will have seven sub-races in total. So far, we have chronicled the dispatch of four sub-races, by the Manu, from the central birthplace of these sub-races in the four valleys leading off from the City of the Bridge. As each sub-race spreads its wings, it tends to be the dominant political and cultural centre on the planet. This is not to say that other civilisations have ceased to play a role in human development. It is just that there seems to be a life wave that ripples through each sub-race, always accompanied by the arrival of the Bodhisattva, who adds a new dimension to how humanity can perceive a concept of a greater life. This is usually expressed through religion and the concept of a deity. In these presentations, we have not touched on the role played by the Maha Chohan, who is responsible for the development of the cultural aspects of a civilisation. This is a much more complex story to unpack with cultural thought evolving sequentially, as well as in parallel, through any civilisation. This would need a complex analysis outside a simple historical review.
If we turn back to 20,000 B.C.E., we find the fifth sub-race being prepared simultaneously with the fourth, though in a different way. It was set apart in a valley far from the City of the Bridge, on the north shore of the Gobi Sea. Into it the Manu introduced a few of the best specimens of the third sub-race, now thoroughly differentiated in Persia. Also included were a few Semites from Arabia. He chose especially people who were tall and fair. When He, Himself, was born into this new sub-race His body prominently showed those characteristics. It will be recollected that the Manu starts each sub-race just as He does the Root Race, by incarnating in it Himself; and the form He chooses to take largely determines the appearance of the sub-race.
The fifth sub-race was strong and vigorous, much larger than the fourth, and was tall, fair, and long-headed, with light hair and blue eyes. The racial character of this sub-race was very different from that of the Kelts. It was dogged and persevering, with little of the dash and flamboyance of the fourth sub-race. Its virtues were not of the artistic type, but rather of the business and common sense sort, blunt and truthful, plainspoken and straightforward, caring for the concrete rather than for the poetic.
The fourth and the fifth sub-races left their respective valleys together in 20,000 B.C.E., and passed together through Persia, though their eventual destinies were very different. The fifth sub-race, small in number, moved along the shores of the Caspian Sea and settled in Dagestan. There it grew slowly for thousands of years, extending along the northern slopes of the Caucasian Range and occupying the Terek and Kuban districts. It is differentiated into several distinct types. From this initial location, the fifth sub-race began its great march to world dominion nearly 1,000 years after the cataclysm of 9,564 B.C.E.
The swamps of Central Europe having now become habitable, the emigrants moved northwest to what is now Cracow in Poland. There they remained for some centuries, disease thinning their ranks, for the marshes were not quite dry enough for safe habitation. It was chiefly from Cracow that the final radiations took place. The first were the Slavonic peoples; one party went east and north and from it came largely the modern Russians; the other went more south, and is now represented by the Croatians, Serbians and Bosnians. The second wave was the Lettish, though it did not go far. It gave us the Latvians, the Lithuanians and the Prussians. The third was the Germanic tribes, those called especially the Teutons, spreading over Southern Germany, others going north and becoming the Goths and Scandinavians. The Scandinavians later circled and came back into Russia establishing trading colonies. They were later called the Rus’.
In modern history, we find the descent of the Scandinavians upon Normandy, the Normans being a Viking off-shoot. The Goths descended upon Southern Europe, the Goths themselves being displaced from their original homeland in the North Caucasus by Mongol tribes spreading out of Central Asia. Last but not least, we see the fifth sub-race spreading over Australia, North America and South Africa. Its dominance in India, through the British Empire, brought this sub-race back to where the Root-Stock of its people was settled. So what we can see is that every Root Race has a series of sub-races, totalling seven in number. That number gets everywhere.
Where does that leave us today? The fifth sub-race is currently the dominant cultural and political group of monads on the planet and has been for several centuries now. I suppose this started with the colonisation of the globe by the Spanish and Portuguese and was taken to its greatest extent by the British and then carried on by the Americans through a financial and military hegemony.
I hope it is clear through this series of presentations that evolution is guided and the representative of that guiding hand is the Manu of the newest and most active Root Race. I remember in the 1980s listening to people telling me that Japan was about to become the richest country and the dominant cultural force on the planet. I instinctively recoiled at this notion simply because I could not see human evolution going backwards. How could a 4th Root Race culture become dominant again? It was blatantly obvious to me that science and culture were being driven from North America. This notion itself was anathema to many European intellectuals, who looked down their noses at the USA, considering them to be barbarians. In the 2010s this story was repeated with the rise of China and the same tropes were trotted about about the demise of the West and the inexorable rise of the East. The dramatically slowing Chinese economy and its evident demographic decline should dampen the ardour of the most ardent flag waver for this Atlantian remnant.
Has the 5th Root Race done itself any favours? No, unfortunately. Its history today has been one of constant bickering, infighting and clashes, based all too often around the tenets of Bodhisattva when he returned to us in his last incarnation as Christ/Maitreya. Yet today we find ourselves in a global economy with many cultural links that have flowed, as a result of the colonial period, with populations migrating into the cultural and political heartland of the fifth and nascent 6th sub-race. More on the sixth sub-race later. In the past the Manu isolated gene pools and established new sub-races. Today genetic mixing is happening in a more random manner and on a much bigger scale. Out of this blending has already begun to emerge the sixth sub-race in Canada, the USA and Australia. When people talk about the demise of the USA, little do they realise that this arc, where this next sub-race will develop, has only just started. Into these population centres will be born great souls, which will eventually lead Humanity to even greater achievements than were ever seen in Atlantis. We are not talking decades, we are talking centuries, which will lead into millennia. The wheels of evolution grind slowly, but they grind inexorably forward.
As was mentioned when speaking of the Atlantean Race, the sacred word of the fifth or Aryan Root Race is Om, that of the Atlantean Race being Tau. The words of the Root Races taken in succession are said to be syllables of one word, which is the true sacred Name. Each root race has its own special quality to unfold. That of the fifth root race is manas or mind. It is that type of intellect that discriminates and notes the differences between things. When the intellect is perfectly developed, differences are noted calmly, solely for the purpose of understanding them and judging which is best. In the stage of half-development at which we are now, most people look for differences not so much to understand them but to oppose them. This has led in the past and is evident in the present, to the persecution of those who hold different opinions. This elementary stage will, of course, in due time be outgrown. The Âryan Race is less dominated by the passions of the senses and is more open to the influence of manas. Consequently, it is obtaining a firmer grasp of knowledge and a wider range of intellect. This fifth root race is thus developing that aspect of the Divine nature known by the Hindus as Chit, or Intelligence.
In the next presentation, we will cycle back to the first sub-race of the 5th Root Race. We had previously mentioned that the rootstock of the 5th Root Race was always to be found in the City of the Bridge on the shores of the Gobi Sea. It did, however, also, migrate down into the Indian Sub-Continent and it is that migration that we will examine in the next presentation.
