AM-379 MENTAL ENVELOPE (44)

In the previous presentation, we listed three ways in which an observer of the Akashic record may gain information about the time period being studied.

  1. Examine the mind of an observer present in the scene under investigation.
  2. Look for documents in the scene and see if dates are recorded.
  3. Compare the scene to contemporary records of the event being studied.

In more recent times, finding the date of an event is usually not difficult. However, in much older times, different methods have to be used. Even if the date can be calculated based on the calendar of the people depicted in the picture, there may be difficulty in matching their calendar with ours. In such cases, the observer can go through the records in front of them and count the years from a known date. It’s important to have a rough idea of the time period based on the appearance and surroundings so that the observer doesn’t have to count too many years. When dealing with thousands of years, this method becomes impractical. As an alternative, the observer can track the point in the sky to which the axis of the earth is pointing and calculate the date using information about the precession of the equinoxes. In records of events that occurred millions of years ago, the 26,000-year cycle of the precession of the equinoxes can be used as a unit. Absolute accuracy is not necessary in these instances, so an approximate date is sufficient for practical purposes when dealing with such remote time periods.

The accurate numbering of records is only possible after careful training. Mental focus is essential for reliable reading. In fact, to minimise the possibility of error, the investigator should have full mental focus while awake in the physical body; however, obtaining this level of mental focus requires years of hard work and strict self-discipline, much simpler just to Google it!

Furthermore, since accurate records are currently beyond our understanding, comprehending them fully would require abilities of a much higher calibre than any that humanity has achieved. That’s why our current understanding of the entire subject is unavoidably imperfect, as we’re viewing it from a lower vantage point rather than from above.

The Akashic Records should not be confused with mere man-made thought forms, which are abundant on both the mental and emotional planes.

For example, as we discussed in a previous presentation, any significant historical event that has been consistently contemplated and vividly imagined by many people exists as a specific thought form on the mental plane. The same applies to characters in drama, fiction, and so on. These products of thought (often stemming from ignorant or inaccurate thought) are much easier to perceive than the true Akashic Record. Reading the records requires training while seeing thought forms only require a glimpse of the mental plane. Hence, many visions of saints, seers, etc., are not true records but merely thought forms.

One way to access historical records is through a process called psychometry. It seems that there’s a magnetic connection between any piece of matter and the historical record it contains. In fact, every particle permanently retains the imprint of everything that has happened nearby. This connection allows it to serve as a conduit between the record and the abilities of someone who can read it. Sherlock Holmes used a magnifying glass as a decoy to hide his real investigation methods!

The untrained clairvoyant typically cannot access the records without a physical link to connect with the subject. Psychometry is a method of exercising clairvoyance.

If a fragment of stone from Stonehenge is given to a psychometrist, they will be able to see and describe the ruins and the surrounding area. Additionally, they may also perceive past events associated with Stonehenge, such as Druidic ceremonies.

It is quite probable that ordinary memory is simply another expression of the same principle. The experiences we go through in the course of our lives appear to impact the brain cells in a manner that establishes a connection between those cells and the specific memories we have been associated with, allowing us to “remember” what we have seen.

Even a trained clairvoyant needs a link to enable them to find the record of an event of which they have no previous knowledge. There are several ways in which this may be done. For example, if the clairvoyant has visited the scene of the event, they may call up the image of the spot and then search through the records until they reach the desired period. If the clairvoyant has not seen the place in question, they may go back in time to the date of the event and then search for what they need. Another approach is to examine the records of the period, where the clairvoyant will have no difficulty in identifying any prominent person connected with the event; they can then search through the records of that person until they come to the event they are looking for.

It is evident that the ability to access the memories of nature exists in varying degrees among humans. There are a few trained clairvoyants who can access the records at will. There are psychometrists who need an object connected to the past in order to make that connection. Some individuals experience occasional glimpses of the past, while crystal ball gazers can sometimes focus their emotional telescope to view scenes from long ago.

Many people unconsciously manifest lower psychic powers. For example, some crystal ball gazers may see past scenes without realising they are not present-day visions. Similarly, some vaguely psychic individuals may constantly see images without understanding that they are actually psychometrising the objects around them.

A variation of this type of psychic is the person who can psychometrise individuals rather than inanimate objects, as is more common. In most cases, this ability appears sporadically. These psychics will sometimes see a significant event in that stranger’s life instantly when they meet a stranger; on other occasions, they will not receive any particular impression.

Even though this series of presentations does not cover the Unity Plane (46), it is worth briefly mentioning the records that exist on the Unity Plane for the sake of completeness in this one instance.

The records, often referred to as the Memory of Nature, exist on the plane of Unity (46) much more vividly than a conventional memory. On this plane, time and space are no longer limitations in the way they were on the 1st Triad. The observer does not need to review a series of events, as the past, present, and future are all happening simultaneously, known as the “Eternal Now,” despite the phrase sounding meaningless on the physical plane. We discussed this with an analogy in a previous prevention where a cone passing through a flat plane was used to illustrate a 6-dimensional view of an event.

Below the level of consciousness of the Logos, even on the Unity Plane, it is evident that the “record” is not just a memory. Everything that has occurred in the past or will occur in the future is happening now before a monad’s eyes who has this level of consciousness, just as much as the events of what we call the present. This has to be tempered with the acknowledgement that any point of time forward from the present is calculated from a series of probabilities of the most likely outcome.

A simple and purely physical analogy may help to partially understand not only the future but also the past and present being visible simultaneously.

  1. Physical light can travel at its usual speed indefinitely into space without diminishing.

(2) The omnipresent Logos must be at every point in space simultaneously.

Assuming these premises, it follows that everything that has happened since the beginning of the world must be taking place before the eyes of the Logos at this very moment. This is not just a memory but the actual occurrence being observed by the Logos.

Additionally, by a simple shift of consciousness through space, He would not only be continuously aware of every event that has ever occurred, but also be aware of every event happening at any speed of His choosing, whether forwards (as we perceive time) or backwards.

The illustration, as stated, does not appear to shed light on the problem of seeing the future. This phenomenon remains unexplained for now, relying solely on the accounts of those who have experienced the ability to foresee future events to some extent.

The future is not as clear as the past because the ability to see the future belongs to a higher plane. While it is possible to some extent to foresee events on the mental plane, it is not perfect. This is because an individual’s powerful will can introduce new elements into their destiny and change the pattern of their future life. It may be possible to predict the future course of an ordinary person with little willpower, but when a person takes their future into their own hands, exact prediction becomes impossible.

A person who can use their atomic body can access the Universal Memory beyond even the limits of their own Chain, but you need to be a 45-Self at least.

One possible cause of plagiarism is when two writers see the same Akashic record simultaneously. In this case, they may appear to plagiarise each other, but they are actually drawing from the world’s true history without realising it.

That is the Akashic records dealt with. The following presentation will look at the other inhabitants of the Mental World.
