Our journey home continues. Looking at this diagram, we can see that so far we have discarded our physical body, our etheric body and in the past presentation, we go to the point where we were on the verge of discarding our emotional body as well. What leads us to do this? The first thing is, to realise is that Paradise is not what it is cracked up to be. There is only so much fun you can have masquerading as a Dutch person and riding around on a bicycle. Add to this the fact that the energy supply to your emotional body is diminishing. The Life Thread does not just animate our physical bodies. Some monads can prolong their stay on the Emotional plane if they choose to do so, but in the main, most of us choose to move on after about 25 years. For some, toasting themselves in Hell and Purgatory may take longer than that, but it is a choice they make themselves and is not the edict of a cruel and vengeful ‘God’.
You may have spent some time in Purgatory and many a pleasant day in Paradise but you eventually realise that this is leading you nowhere. When that day dawns, you start to dissolve your emotional body and move your focus onto the next plane. Welcome to Heaven! Yes, this is where you are now. When religions talk about Paradise, they are locating themselves, whether they realise it or not, in the Emotional World. When they then talk about Heaven, they have moved to another plane of matter, completely. So what awaits us here? We do not actually know. Why? Because most of us are still focused in our 48:1 permanent atom. This means that the Mental plane is only available to us subjectively. We are there physically, but we can only perceive it subjectively. This is why this plane is given the descriptor ‘the World of Fiction’. Why? Because we dwell here in our own thought-bubbles. We are in a dream-like state and everything we perceive, we do so because we dream it up. This is not the same as the world of illusions and fantasies that we experienced on the Emotional plane. On the Mental plane, we are not able to objectively interact with our environment or anyone else in that environment. Subjectively, we can do what the hell we like. I will get to that shortly
Let us assume we are focused in our 47:4 permanent molecule. It is now that the Mental World becomes objectively visible to us. What would we see? Well, on the lowest subplane, 47:7, we would see millions, in fact, probably billions of monads, all happily inhabiting their own thought-world. You would witness bubbles of iridescent light, pulsating with the colours that were indicative of the thoughts you were having. So, what is the point of floating around in our fictitious world? The reason is that we have the opportunity to reflect on our last incarnation and work up, more strongly in our minds, the lesson and skills we gained from our brief sojourn on Earth. We can relive events. We can practice skills we may have learnt. We are even able to practice skills we would like to develop in future incarnations. All this practice may be good for our souls but it does not lead to consciousness expansion. That, I am afraid to say, can only be achieved by taking what we know and materialising it down on the lowest planes of matter. Once an idea or skill is fully manifested on Earth, the knowledge of that idea is transferred into wisdom. This is what we wish to achieve and return to our causal bodies. Wisdom is seeing the reality of something. Knowledge of reality is only a model of what could potentially be. We have to test that hypothesis here on Earth to come to know the truth about anything. This is why incarnating is so important and why you are seriously wasting your breath complaining about being down here and how you can not wait to get ‘home’.
On the higher subplanes of the Mental World, a monad is freed from its own fictitious world and can converse with a range of other monads, not all from the Human Kingdom. This is the lowest plane of matter that the Hierarchy is prepared to descend to. The Emotional plane is a charnel house of our misdirected emotions. It is also the home of the Black Lodge, so that is definitely a neighbourhood you do not want to visit. Once free of our thought bubbles, we gain objective consciousness on the subplanes of the mental plane, including the permanent molecule 47:4. We can attend lectures by members of Hierarchy and indeed this is where we do a great deal of our studies, as we advance in our consciousness development.
Let’s get back to our thought bubble because this is where most of us will be residing, once we get to the Mental Plane. This environment is called heaven because there is no negativity found here. We left all our negative emotions back on the lowest three subplanes of the Emotional Plane. We create our ideal environment and we inhabit it. We review our recent life and assess what we learnt from it. We may decide we wish to practice a skill we developed on Earth and we wish to develop it further. This does not turn us into a genius. That does not occur until we return into a new incarnation and remember that talent. We then work it up, approximately, to the skill levels we were working on, when we were in our thought bubble. If we had led an eventful life, there may be a lot for us to process. This all takes time and so a monad’s sojourn on the Mental plane may take centuries. It is difficult to imagine how this would equate to Earth-time in the way we would experience the passage of time. Why? Because on the Mental plane we operate in five dimensions!
Are we totally alone in our thought bubbles? Not exactly. Say, you wished to have a conversation with your favourite grandchild. You would remember what your grandchild looked like. The focus and the strength of your vision would produce an image of your grandchild in front of you. Would you just be communicating with an imaginary vision of your grandchild? Not exactly. What happens is quite strange to conceptualise. The monad that is your grandchild knows you are thinking about it and wants to meet you. It sends a small portion of activated casual matter from itself to materialise within your mental construction of itself. From here, the monad of the grandchild is able to communicate with you. Which part of the grandchild knew you wished to contact it? It would be the lower causal body that constitutes the persona of the child. This is the personality the grandparent knew, not the contents of the higher causal body. Why should the lower causal body want to oblige the monad that was its grandparent? Because in the conversation that will ensue, there will be a gain in consciousness for both parties. Does this mean that if you wanted to have a chat with the Lord Buddha, he would turn up? I honestly can not say on that level. I know you could certainly create an image of the Lord Buddha, but it would be the image you have of him. I suspect the conversation from there on in would be fictitious. This is not the case in the grandchild scenario.
While on the Mental Plane, the monad has no contact with the Physical Plane anymore. It has no contact with the Emotional plane either. It is subjectively lost in a dream world of its own making. This world, however, serves a purpose and that is to allow the monad to work up its recent life experiences. Some of those experiences are stored away in the permanent molecule, 47:4. These memories form part of the monad’s subconscious. These are the memories that have not been resolved yet and worked up into causal consciousness. Some of the conscious deliberations are fully understood and mastered. What happens to them? That is the topic of the last presentation in this series about our envelopes of incarnation.
