AM-106 HYLOZOICS (4)

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Welcome back to the Continuing Adventures of the Monad. Today, we should wrap up our look at the system of thought known as Hylozoics. As the foundation of this whole series of presentations is predicated on a framework that was put forward by Pythagoras 17 centuries ago, it behoves us to really get an understanding of the framework that he proposed and how we could and should apply it in our lives.

We have compared and contrasted Hylozoics with science, philosophy and theology. We have also contrasted with other so-called esoteric systems of thought, such as Theosophy and Rosicrucianism. We saw the risks that were inherent in the other system. Are there risks to be found in Hylozoics or the way that it is studied?

Let’s put aside the Rosicrucian movement since it is in no way related to the teachings of its founder, Master R. The information he imparted was given individually to each disciple. It was so secret that no one disciple knew another. Nothing was ever written down. So quite what we have published today, God alone knows. The Theosophical Society is a more interesting case to study. The source texts are monumental and were what the Hierarchy were prepared to reveal at the time. Besides being practically unintelligible and suitable only for initiates, the movement that Blavatsky founded split almost immediately into three factions. When I read some of the vitriol written by one faction towards another, I was dumbfounded. The Hierarchy dissociated itself from this organisation after about seven years. The first lesson to learn from this is that esoteric knowledge is worthless if it is brought forward to those that do not have eyes to see, nor ears to hear. There is a risk that the same thing could happen to Hylozoics. It is therefore in the interest of all esotericists that Hylozoics is not turned into a new religion for emotionalists, mystics and ‘believers’. It is also vital that students of Hylozoics do not become conceited and think they are better or more important than others. Alas, I see this all too often in those that purport to be the ‘New Group of World Servers’, who are nothing more than an old group of ‘believers’. Laurency gives us all some sage advice; “distrust your own brilliant ideas”. We are often confronted by eager evangelists who have recently dreamt up some brilliant concoction of a system that will transform humanity. My advice to them is to keep on ‘taking the tablets’.

The fact that Hylozoics agrees with reality means that it possesses a different sort of energy, compared to the consciousness expressions of ‘life ignorance’, as Laurency would describe it. The ideas brought forward by Hylozoics are very dynamic and the mental capacity of most peoples are not predisposed to assimilating them in any meaningful manner.

The Master K.H., (aka, Pythagoras) has alarming stated that “Those who engage in occult sciences, must either reach the goal or perish. Once fairly started on the way to the great knowledge, to doubt is to risk insanity; to come to a dead stop is to fall; to recede, is to tumble backwards, heading into an abyss.” Now I am not insinuating here that if you do not Like and Subscribe to this channel and continue to regularly watch, your life is over, however…….

Laurency tells us that all ‘thinking’ people should be called ‘seekers’. They are seeking something that they know, intuitively, is there. Something that will liberate them from their inner doubts. If and when they stumble across Hylozoics, they are acquiring a system that they have met before and possess latently. This system seems to dwell in their subconscious. This implies that an esoteric seeker is someone who seeks until they find the Hylozoic knowledge system, according to Laurency. It should be clear to you by now that Laurency is equating an esotericist with a Hylozoician and only a Hylozoician. That may be overstating the facts but you can see the close correlation. Laurency states to us that an esoterician should not seek to make any kind of profit from esoteric work or gain personal advantage from it. There goes my plans for a Mega Church and a private jet. All esoteric work, according to Laurency, must involve sacrifice. Do not expect a gold medal for any efforts you may undertake. Laurency warns that students of Hylozoics should refrain from forming societies. He warns that Satanists always infiltrate such organisations, causing strife and division. I am not pointing any fingers at potential ‘Satanists’ but you can see with so many other organisations, such as the Theosophic movement, division all too soon reared its ugly head.

If you would deem to classify yourself as an esoterician, then you should not be a sceptic about anything. Either you know something or you don’t. If you don’t, then you leave the issue until you gain clarity on the matter. We tend to need to have something that is unshakeably firm. Something we can keep to and regard as absolute. This results in us emotionalising what we know and then dogmatising it. We find our system and are content to live with it, often refusing to examine any other system. We find it too troublesome to rethink our position. When it comes to science, a new hypothesis replaces an old one if it explains more facts. When it comes to esoterics, it is not possible to replace an old hypothesis with a new one. The old hypothesis must have a definitive explanation. It is called a hypothesis because its absolute correctness can not be ascertained by science, so it must be regarded as an assumption for the time being. Why are we making this distinction between an esoteric and a scientific hypothesis? The reason is that esoteric hypotheses are given to us by the Planetary Hierarchy. Human hypotheses are not esoteric.

Our current mental capacity has two functions, The first is to scale down causal ideas and the second is to unravel the fiction, presented to us through careful analysis. Mysticism presupposes an ideology that centres around one’s imagination. This then runs wild, independent of common sense and mental control. Hylozoics starts from a mental orientation. It allows us to conceive reality as a gigantic energy phenomenon. Knowledge of these energies and their utilisation allows us to evolve. In our case, it is to evolve into the 5th Kingdom of Nature. It is up to us to take the insights that Hylozoics affords us and use them purposefully. This does not happen automatically. You have to learn to use these energies. It is a matter of ‘will’, intention and being purposeful. You come to slowly understand the focused application of causal energies. This is the art of living. You learn this art by serving Humanity.

Hylozoic’s teachings emphasise the Trinity. A practitioner comes to understand the importance of the Motion/Energy/Will aspect. This is the same energy that builds the Cosmos. How this relates to us is that these energies produced by us, find their expression in our envelopes of incarnation  We have to realise that if these energies are not given purposeful outlets, they become irrational and harmful to us. Knowledge by itself is insufficient to teach us to live in the correct manner. We have to apply that knowledge in accordance with the Laws of Life. You do not reach the knowledge of life through ‘speculation’ but through ‘application’.

Hylozoics should not be studied superficially. Compare it to other systems and see how each system explains various facts. Comprehending Hylozoics is not enough. You have to use it to solve the problems of reality, rationally explaining the meaning and goals of life. Hylozoics should be able to explain previously inexplicable facts, in a simple manner. You are now in a position to make deductions based on the system, draw conclusions from it and ascertain if it agrees with reality. It is a basic tenant of Hylozoics that true knowledge can be established mathematically. Well, what else would you expect from a system set up by Pythagoras?

Mental systems can be presented in different ways, corresponding to your stage of development and your ray configuration. Don’t become confused, stick to one system. Hylozoics best suits a monad belonging to the 3rd and 5th departments. Understanding Hylozoics, according to Laurency, is only possible for old initiates who have the knowledge latently. However, comprehension is possible for all who have sufficiently logical minds. Memorising the Trinity is simple. Thinking out the consequences of these facts is very different. It is only when you attain causal consciousness that you will come to see how Hylozoics equated with reality.

So, to conclude, Hylozoics is moulded into a Concretised Mental System. It, however, originates from the World of Ideas (47:3). To fully grasp it, you must connect to this world. It is perfectly possible for a person who has reached the 3. Cultured Stage, to appreciate Hylozoics as an interesting philosophical system of study that appears to be logically tenable. This does not mean they have reached a higher mentality (47:5) or are at the 4. Compassionate stage of their evolutionary path.

A wise master once said; anyone who has mastered hylozoics has gained an understanding, not just of the three aspects of reality, but also of mankind’s path of development and he will find that this understanding entails energy that makes further “revelation” possible, a path of light from clarity to clarity.
