AM-163 HUMANITY & THEIR SOLAR DEVAS (5)

Today, we will start by looking and the connection between causal light and physical light. It has been mentioned many times, but it is worth reiterating that the solar deva meditates in the causal world and the aspirant in the mental world. Both worlds are technically mental matter, but they exist on different triads and in this way they are a world apart. The objective of that aspirant and its solar deva is to synthesise their meditations into a conjoined process. How does this happen? Starting from these two different triads, a synthesis grows in the physical/etheric brain of the aspirant, where a point of light develops. The origin of this light is kindled in the causal envelope, which is controlled by the solar deva. It is worth mentioning here that light, as it is used in this presentation, has two meanings. It is, firstly, energy and how this energy manifests into a form of some kind. Form is matter, as energy can not exist in isolation. The second point to note is that the term “light” and “matter” are synonymous. Light always represents the matter aspect of the Holy Trinity of Motion, Consciousness and Matter. When this point of light manifests in the brain of an aspirant, the thoughts of the aspirant and the casual ideas of the solar deva have found a point of rapport. A germ of a thought form has come into being. Note the term “form”. A thought is not just some nebulous fibrillation in the brain. It is an agglomeration of elemental essences in the mental envelope that is known as an elemental. A thought is a thing, something tangible on the mental plane.

So what is being formed and what purpose does it serve? The thought form, when it is complete, is an embodiment of as much of the Divine Plan of the Hierarchy that the aspirant can grasp in their mental envelope. This happens in stages. As an aspirant and at the early stages of discipleship, in this case, up to the third initiation (i3), the main objective of the monad is one of service. Beginning to stir within the monad at this time is the concept of unity, as it applies to the love/wisdom aspect found in World 46, the Unity World, which is the entrance into the 5th Kingdom of Nature. This unity is the unity of all things in all kingdoms. Why is it useful to ponder on such matters? Because super-physical ideas such as unity lead the monad towards an apprehension of what love/wisdom really means in the 5th Kingdom and how this unity can have a practical and physical expression in the world.

So, we have the solar deva and the monad jointly creating a thought form. It is a two-stage process. The solar deva focuses its casual energies towards the mental envelope of the aspirant, who then reorientates its forces of the 1st self to use these energies. This creative work is then done in three stages.

The aspirant tries to achieve inner quiet, something that is easier said than done. It is very difficult to achieve directed attentiveness. When it is, however, achieved, the aspirant is now in a position, through symbols and the interpretations of life’s experiences, to apprehend the purposes of the plan and where they may cooperate. Note the term “apprehend” and not “comprehend” is used. The degree to which any plan can be activated depends on the development of the aspirant. In most cases, the aspirant will join with others on an already existing plan and add to the cooperative effort. However, for some more mature souls, there may an opportunity to bring a new plan into operation, which then goes on to manifest as a group activity. To qualify to do the latter involves the monad being free from personal ambition.
In the next stage, the aspirant learns to clearly perceive the inspiration from their solar devas and then be able to reflect on it. When causal ideas originate from subplane 47:3, the term used to describe them is “intuition”. When it originates from the 47:2 subplane, the term is “inspiration”. During this stage of the process, there is a steady stream of energies between the two centres of force, one in the solar angel and the other in the disciple. This energy travels along the sutratma, also known as the consciousness thread. It starts from the solar deva, which dwells usually in World 46, and passes through the causal body of the monad, finally reaching the organic brain.
In the third stage, the disciple sounds the sacred AUM and unites this sound with the voice of the solar deva, activating mental elemental essences to build the elemental thought form. This process occurs in the physical world. This is not an easy process and is divided into four progressively more difficult steps: a) the disciple endeavours to live as if they were a casual self. b) the monad seeks to use the causal energies cascading down from the 2nd triad to control its envelope of incarnation. c) The next step is to hold waking consciousness steady in the causal envelope and finally d) to keep the monadic focus in causal consciousness, the disciple steadily directs its attention to the elemental thought form.

Ok, so we have three stages and four steps; should be a breeze, right? Well, things are never that easy. It is all very well drawing down causal energies into a mental envelope but does that mental envelope have the capacity to interpret that energy/thought form/elemental? Can that energy be transformed into an elemental that accurately represents the original idea? Once that idea is formed, can the aspirant, or more likely a disciple, interpret that causal idea correctly enough to transmit that idea to others? Quite often, ideas need to be further reduced in scope and scaled so that they can be apprehended by the majority of monads that are focused in their emotional, not their mental bodies. Putting that idea aside for the moment, the aspirant needs to learn to express themselves in a triplicity of forms. These modes of consciousness have to be causal, mental, as well as being finally expressed through the physical/etheric brain. All this has to function as one unit so that the solar deva can construct and express its creative powers in the three worlds of Humanity.

What is the pathway for all this to occur? We talked about the sutratma but when we are talking about our various envelopes chattering to one another, we can not forget about our chakra system. The solar plexus or navel chakra must unite its energies with the energy centres of the sacral and basal chakras. These need to unite and raise themselves above our animal nature into the higher centres of the monad. This is no easy task, especially if you lust after chocolate. But there can be no fudging of this issue. Some misguided souls try and circumvent this natural process that has to be steadily worked through by the monad. They do this by taking psychoactive drugs that punch holes in the etheric web and allow the person to witness events, usually never higher than the emotional plane. This is not the way to connect with your solar deva and will set back your evolution by many incarnations, as the damage done has to be repaired. But when done correctly, under the supervision of your solar deva, the united energies of the three “animal” centres of your body can be raised, even as far as the crown chakra.

This, in a nutshell, is what we must all try to achieve. We are here to serve and to do this in a manner that coincides with the Divine Plan for Humanity and all the other life streams co-evolving on this planet. We need to make contact with our solar devas, for it is they and not us that knows the Plan and know how a small part of it is to be executed by their protégé, in cooperation with others.

In the next presentation we will look at the work of the eye. What do we mean by the “eye” and what does this organ do?
