Solar Devas
A solar deva is one of the higher devas, identified with the Augoeides or solar angels, belonging to the deva evolution that specializes in the matter aspect. Unlike the lunar builders of the lower envelopes, the solar devas work from the causal level: they build and sustain the causal envelope, energize self-consciousness, and mediate the higher consciousness to the human monad. Their function is to enable animal monads to enter the human kingdom through causalization, and later to help human monads pass onward into the fifth kingdom.
Paranormal Phenomena
Paranormal Phenomena is a misleading exoteric label for phenomena that are not contrary to nature but belong to superphysical reality. Such phenomena arise through etheric, emotional, or mental kinds of matter and through laws not yet recognized by ordinary physical science. Clairvoyance, superphysical perception, and certain magical effects therefore do not break natural law; they presuppose higher kinds of objective consciousness or knowledge of subtler energies and their lawful application. What appears supernatural is usually only unexplained because the observer lacks the requisite facts, senses, or training.
Good & Evil
Good and evil are not arbitrary absolutes but expressions of man's relation to the laws of life, above all the laws of unity and development. Good is everything that furthers the development, ennoblement, freedom, and unity of the individual, the group, mankind, and all life. Evil is everything that hinders development, violates law, strengthens separateness, hatred, arbitrariness, and disunity. Thus what unites, serves, helps, and uplifts is good; what divides, harms, degrades, or obstructs is evil. Yet their application is relative to the individual's level of understanding, since right on one level may not be right on another.
